Throughout the last week, I have been preparing for Final Presentation Night and the wrap up of my first one year ISM journey.
As ISM Final Presentation Night is coming up this Friday night, I have been busy with finishing some final preparations. I have been deciding what to bring for refreshments and adding in last minute sections of my speech. I have also been handing out invitations to other people and family friends to maximize the people that can attend. Unfortunately, my family will not be available the night of the ISM Final Presentation Night due to our family having a separate event that evening. Thus, although I was worried that I would have needed to print more ISM classroom programs, I do not think I will need to anymore. I do feel that with the final showcase coming up soon I have been more reminiscent of the past year and my journey in the program, and it makes me even more grateful and cautious of this event, wanting to make this event memorable and special.
As for One Thread, because I have also been busy with AP testing and end of the year projects, I have yet been able to finish sewing the quilts for the end of the year. I hope to finish them this weekend as well as during the extra days of school we have off. In addition, after the tests have been completed, I will have more time after school to finish sewing up the quilts. For the meetings, the members and I have been sewing and embroidering our own One Thread shirts and I think they look really unique and cute. As a recap for the One Thread year, I think, overall, all of the projects we have done will really carry over to the next few years as traditions I hope will be known as One Thread’s events.
Therefore, as this week comes, I will be excited to prepare and host at the ISM Final Presentation Night and the wrap up of the whole year! This whole experience will forever be remembered and I can not wait to see what lies ahead!
