Choosing the Team

Over the last week, I have reviewed the applications for the One Thread Board of Directors and am beginning the mentorship process with Mrs. Michelle Lind from Toyota Connected.

Last week, Mrs. Michelle Lind, the Senior Human Resources Manager at Toyota Connected at Legacy West, replied back to my email where I asked her if she was willing to be my mentor. Fortunately, she said she was willing, so next Thursday, I will be meeting with her to discuss the first steps of becoming my official ISM mentor for this year. Because she can guide me through the leadership and teamwork skills of the One Thread board of directors, I am excited to begin the mentorship with her!

Last Friday, January 31st, the One Thread Board of Directors applications were due. Because the applications are on the One Thread Wix website and consist of entering the applicant’s email, contact information, and link to their resume, I have been reviewing their applications. We did have people apply for each position. Therefore, I will have to choose between the applicants to determine who is the best fit for the director position.

Lastly, for the One Thread club, I am continuing to sew the quilts. I am sewing more and more frequently, so I hope to see more quilts being completed soon!
