Throughout the last week, I learned how to efficiently do an elevator pitch.

After meeting Mrs. Holmes, we rehearsed our elevator pitches to each other and finalized our own elevator pitches that we can present to others. An elevator pitch is a thirty second to a minute splurge of an introduction of yourself or yourself and your business. The elevator pitch should include a short introduction of yourself, a quick explanation of what your company is, represents, why the company is valuable, and in what ways is your company different from others. Some key things that Mrs. Holmes and I wanted to include were how our organization have impacted our societies as of currently as well as our outlooks in the perspective of our companies. Learning how to effectively convey myself and One Thread will guide me to better connect with other professionals as they will hopefully be about to truly understand the importance of One Thread in a small amount of time.

As for One Thread, we are starting the bracelet, end of the year fundraiser this week! I am excited to begin developing them and hope to sell them during a week’s lunch. I also want to finish decorating the bulletin board by the end of this week.

Therefore, as this week comes by, I hope to accomplish lots including finalizing board and committee positions, fundraiser beginnings, and the bulletin board.
