Throughout the last week, I experienced the fear of deadlines.
The last few days has been a big wake up call. Seeing that final product is due in a month is stressful, and thus, I need to plan for a more efficiently and manage my time well. For last week’s progress, I was able to finally get started on the One Thread bulletin board. In addition, I was working on some issues with the website and domain I had purchased for One Thread. So, I will be trying to sort out the website by the end of the week. Moreover, I am finalizing the official board of directors and am hoping to start the One Thread nonprofit registration process up and running.
As for One Thread, the bracelet fundraiser is going well, I am excited to see how it will turn out, however, I think I will need to make at least 120 to make a profit of at least $200. I am thinking to price them: one bracelet for two dollars and two bracelets for three dollars. Thus, if many students are going to buy two bracelets rather than just one, I would need to make sure that I produce more that just 100 bracelets. Seeing how the One Thread meetings are going, I think most of the ones going out to sell would have to be me making them as most members are still on their first bracelets.
Therefore, as this week comes, I am looking forward to seeing how the One Thread bulletin board, board of directors, and other events go!
