Throughout this past week, I have been preparing for the submission of my original work and the bylaws of One Thread nonprofit organization.
Because I will be submitting a roughly fifteen-page company bylaws for my original work this year, I have been researching and looking through various examples of other company bylaws. In addition, with the creation of One Thread Bylaws, I am forced to think of some things I have not before. For example, how to make decisions. Do I want a majority vote in order to make major company positions or have a unanimous decision so that everyone is on the same page? Moreover, I am required to discuss membership and therefore, I will need to sort out what will be the regulated membership price and the differences between volunteers, members, and class/workshop attendees.
Therefore, I will be referring back to my business plan. I think because I have not yet gained a mentor as well, I may create a layout for myself if I still have some parts I have not yet decided on and will fill in or change later on.
I hope that through this week will be full of writing and work, I will get through it!
