Over the last week, I continued my search for a mentor as well as continued to manage the One Thread organization.

As I have not found my mentor yet, I was wondering if I should go ahead and ask Mrs. Michelle Lind if she could be my mentor. Mrs. Michelle Lind is the Senior Human Resources Manager at Toyota Connected at Legacy West. Although her profession not necessarily related to start-up businesses, her human resources background can guide me in leading my board of directors to create One Thread into an efficient organization.

As for One Thread’s quilt update, this past week has been spent sewing up One Thread quilts as well. Therefore, we are steadily on our way to finishing the One Thread quilts in preparation for the end of year quilt donation. For the board of directors, I have been reaching out to different people and marketing the company to them in order for them to apply for the One Thread board of director positions.

However, I need to reconnect with applicants and establish a better timeline for when applications end. Then, I can handpick who is sufficient for the position applied for. Hopefully, I will be traveling to visit more professionals soon!
