Experiencing the last week, I have understood more about how to manage various activities at a time.
Throughout the ISM Program, I feel that I have been getting the hang of how things run. In the beginning, I was a little overwhelmed by the number of assessments that were due or the need to contact multiple professionals, yet as time progressed, I learned and improved upon letting go of stressing about the need to complete a heavy workload (from multiple classes as well). Although completing work and keeping up grades is important, I found a way to get good grades and balance my mental health as well. I realized that I did not have to stress about the mass amounts of work I might have needed to do and move the thoughts of stressing aside and to simplify them into thoughts of just completing the tasks. I needed to detach myself from the stress, and as a result, I have seen a better and more optimistic me. Thus, I have been managing my tasks in a stressless manner, making it easier for me to manage various activities at once.
In addition, I have been contacting more and more professionals for interviews, and we have been trying to schedule them.
Furthermore, in One Thread, last meeting had fewer participants however, I did have members that did not come let me know beforehand. Thus, I think this showed me that I have some more loyal members and made me really appreciate them as well. Adding on, I almost completed a side of the quilt, and I am excited to continue. I also to hope to participate in Liberty High School’s Trunk or Treat to promote our club and connect with our community.
Thus, I am excited for this week to come, and I hope to make more progress on the quilt and finish my interviews as well.
