Throughout last week, I have learned to preserve.

With last week being slower than other weeks, the slowing down process has helped me feel more motivated because this week has been less eventful and made me miss being more active. Thus, I need to keep it up and continue to reach out to professionals and get a mentor. I have been organizing event ideas for a professional that is interested in being my mentor. Though the event planning is extremely fun, I do not feel as if I am doing a lot. Therefore, I hope to keep going and keep, again, reaching out to learn more about the social entrepreneurship field from different professionals.

In addition, One Thread’s first meeting went well. Around ten students attended the meeting, in which in my opinion, is not too shabby considering I knew many could not make it. I am expecting more this week and I hope more people come to participate. Thus, I will keep striving for more members as well as keep One Thread running smoothly and efficiently.

In conclusion, I hope to keep connecting with more professionals to learn more about other nonprofits’ journeys in the field and finish my third interview. Adding on, I aspire to keep One Thread proactive. Ultimately, I hope to keep pushing myself to strive for more.
