Throughout the week, I prepared for the ISM Showcase and continued to run the One Thread club.

Because the ISM Showcase is coming up is a few days, I have been preparing in regards to the event. This included creating the display board and all its elements, collect all visuals in regards to the One Thread club at Liberty High School, preparing the bringing of the One Thread quilt, and finalizing all documents for my portfolio. With the process of creating all of these elements, I have learned to organize myself and my thoughts to effectively in order to properly prepare my visuals and documents for the ISM Research Showcase. Moreover, with the process of putting everything together for the showcase, I found this to be extremely rewarding. Looking back at what I have done, researched, learned through interviews and mentor visits, and other ISM related memories. It was really nostalgic and helped me see just how much ISM has taught me so far. Yet, it also brought the possibility for more. It made me see not only how much I could accomplish but how much I could really handle and with that capability, how much more I could learn, create, and produce.

As for One Thread, we continued to run effectively, cutting out the squares we need for the quilts. For the sewing process, it has been slowing down as I have not been sewing too much although, I will be soon. I estimate that we have cut enough square for four quilts already. Thus, because we only have around 7 active members for every meeting, we are creating great progress. This also shows that with more members, we will be able to create more and more as well.

All in all, this past week reminded me of how much I have done and inspires me to continue doing what I love. It was a week for me to reflect on myself and see what I would want to improve on or create. Therefore, I hope for all of the energy of inspiration continues and motivates me to make my ideas a reality this semester for my final product.
