Steamrolled

Throughout the last week, I was overwhelmed with outside activities.

Because college application deadlines are approaching rapidly and time to finish the One Thread quilts is quickly coming, I have been feeling like I’m being chased by the ultimate steamroller of time. Personally, balancing stress is usually not a difficulty for me, however, pairing the time constraints with the fear of rejection or failure is something I am less capable of handling.

For One Thread, the number of new members has been increasing, so that is something that is keeping me going. Although, the hunt for a domain name still remains. I have been doing brief research on SquareSpace and registering a domain name and building the One Thread website on SquareSpace. Because onethread.com or onethread.org is taken, I need to come up with an alternate name. My research included looking at other companies and how they choose a domain name. Some companies incorporate their motto into their website name, others add abbreviations. Therefore, all suggestions are something to keep in mind.

Tonight is Liberty High School’s annual Trunk R Treat event, and One Thread will be participating in the event by hosting a trunk of our own and passing out candy, Hopefully, we will be able to spread our One Thread word as well!
