Over winter break, I started on my Display Board for Research Showcase and continued sewing quilts and products for One Thread.

Because the Research Showcase is coming up next week, I have been preparing my display board with ‘Social Entrepreneurship’ my title. For my display board, I will also be using an extra foamboard piece to attach to the top of my display board. This is because of last year, I tried to fit ‘Social Entrepreneurship’ onto my board along with the rest of my needed materials on my display board and ‘Social Entrepreneurship’ took up too much space.

Therefore, this year, I resolved the problem by posting ‘Social Entrepreneurship’ on a separate board. This way, my board will also look bigger and grasp the attention of others more. In addition, last year, I saw many classmates have pockets to hold their information. With the pockets, viewers were able to hold the information and ISM materials and flip through them while the students explained their topic to them.

In addition to decorating my display board over winter break, I sewed up more quilts as well as the scrunchies One Thread is planning to sell in the spring. Therefore, I will be ready to finish the quilts by the end of the year for the donation!
