Over the last week, I have interviewed my first applicant for the One Thread Board of Directors and gained information about club fees and fundraisers.

This past Saturday afternoon, I interviewed my first applicant for the board of directors. The interview only took twenty-five minutes, but it captured much information as well as allowed me to learn my priority order of the information I would like to tell the applicant interviewed. Some of the top information I would like to include at every interview is how I would like the board of directors to operate together. I desire for a team that works collaboratively rather than completing their tasks individually. I also would like to mention that the board of directors will be meeting twice a month to gather and present their completed tasks. Lastly, another important topic of discussion I would like to include is that the first meeting will consist of walking through the legal documents together and determining the exact rules and regulations.

As for the One Thread club within Liberty High School, I recently found out that One Thread is able to accept membership fees as well as host an in-school fundraiser to raise money for the organization. Because of the recent increase in non-curricular clubs’ regulations, there has been a lot of discussion in regards to fundraising abilities. Therefore, now that there is a conclusion, we no longer have to worry about our annual revenue flow being hindered.
