The Meeting of Another Start

Over the last week, I went on my first mentor visit with Mrs. Michelle Lind and am completing my interviews for the One Thread Board of Directors.

For my first interview with Mrs. Lind, we met at the Starbucks at Legacy West as Toyota Connect, her office space, is there as well. We primarily discussed my progress on the One Thread Board of Directors and how I want the team atmosphere to be like. Personally, I told her how I realized I wanted a comfortable environment for my team to be in. Therefore, we would be able to confront each other, if we needed to, or express our ideas easily. In response, she agreed. Then we discussed how the meeting of minutes are usually documented. As I will be hosting the first meeting and writing the first meeting of minutes for the One Thread Board of Directors in the upcoming weeks, I felt that this was crucial to discuss. Thus, I will be sending her an agenda and format of One Thread’s Board of Directors meeting minutes and wait for her feedback about my assignment.

As last week covered my first mentor visit with Mrs. Michelle, I am excited that I have finally found a mentor but also excited to begin another fun and eye-opening mentorship again.
