The Search

Throughout the last week, I began my search for my team, my board members.


On my non-domain, Wix website, I posted the job descriptions as well as applications for anyone interested to fill out. Although I have not made a due date yet, I began advertising on my own Instagram as well as One Thread’s official Instagram page with some graphics I previously made on Canva. Therefore, I am currently waiting for applicants to submit forms.

For the club, we have begun our annual Bracelet Fundraiser. Due to last year’s experience with the bracelets, I know that the bracelets will take time to create. Thus, I have planned for the One Thread members to begin creating the bracelets now in preparation for next semester's selling of One Thread items.


As I continue the One Thread process and am noticing I will need a future office or working space for One Thread, I have also been planning out what the office space may look like as well as how the office space will be able to contain the necessities for workshops, employees, and storage. Going to a small business wood making shop over the weekend, Crafted in Frisco, has also helped me develop a sense of what kind of atmosphere I would like to embed in One Thread’s future workspace.


Therefore, as I keep planning, I will also need to look at how I can create revenue in order to establish a workspace and hire future employees.
